As per July 2006 MOL will operate a direct Ro/Ro service from Rotterdam Car Terminal to Dublin. This is thanks to the decision of Mazda to have their cars destined for Ireland handled by Broekman Automotive.

Mazda has prolonged the contract with Broekman for the destination UK and Austria and has added the volume with destination Ireland to this logistics concept.

Broekman maintains central stock for Mazda for UK and Ireland. After PDI and adding value activities the cars are directly feedered from Rotterdam to Purfleet and Killingholme respectively Dublin.

Cars with destination Austria are transported by rail to Steindorf (near Salzburg) and Vienna.
